These terms govern the use of the VAEA / Exodus & Resilience — New York/Venezuela Chapter website, including its content, materials, links, resources, forms and digital communications.

1. Website identity
This website corresponds to the Exodus & Resilience — New York/Venezuela Chapter, developed in collaboration with the Venezuelan American Endowment for the Arts (VAEA), a New York-based 501(c)(3) public charity.
VAEA serves as the U.S. nonprofit institutional reference for the chapter, including the nonprofit context for institutional relationships, charitable compliance, donor stewardship and public accountability. Exodus & Resilience coordinates the conceptual, editorial, curatorial, documentary and methodological framework of the program.

2. Use of the website
The website is intended for informational, educational, curatorial, documentary, institutional and public participation purposes. Users agree to use the site lawfully, respectfully and in accordance with these terms.

No content from this website may be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified, published, sold, commercially exploited or used for the training of systems, databases or automated models without prior written authorization, except as permitted by law.
4. Educational use and citation
Short excerpts may be cited for educational, academic, journalistic, curatorial or research purposes, provided that clear attribution to VAEA / Exodus & Resilience is included and a link to the original source is provided when possible.
For extensive reproduction, publication, institutional use, commercial use, exhibition, archiving or republication of materials, prior authorization must be requested by contacting info@exodusandresilience.org.
5. Artists and documentary materials
The program seeks to document and make visible contemporary artistic practices connected to migration, memory, diaspora and cultural rights. Inclusion of artists, artworks or materials on the website does not imply transfer of copyright, commercial representation, gallery representation, exclusive relationship or assignment of intellectual property.
Specific conditions for use, reproduction, archiving, exhibition or circulation of artistic materials may be governed by individual agreements, authorizations, curatorial permissions or consent documents.
6. Donations, grants and support
Donations designated for the New York/Venezuela Chapter are received through VAEA’s institutional channels and may be tax-deductible to the extent permitted by U.S. law.
Any donation, contribution, grant, sponsorship or financial support to the program is managed through the appropriate institutional channel. Information regarding tax deductibility, use of funds, campaigns, goals and restrictions may be subject to applicable rules in the United States.
Donations or financial support do not grant rights over content, artworks, artists, curatorial decisions, programming, institutional governance, archive selection or public communications.
7. Published information
We seek to provide clear, current and accurate information. However, the website may contain errors, changes, omissions or information subject to updates. We reserve the right to modify content, pages, resources, programs, dates, texts or links at any time.
Some sections may describe initiatives in development, future phases, pending collaborations, artists under review, venues under cultivation or program components subject to funding, approval or institutional confirmation. Publication of this information does not constitute a guarantee of execution, selection, funding, participation, approval or availability.

9. Forms and participation

Submission of information does not require VAEA / Exodus & Resilience to accept proposals, publish materials, establish collaborations, select artists, respond immediately to requests or formalize agreements.
Information submitted through forms is handled according to the Privacy Policy.

The website is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, VAEA / Exodus & Resilience shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, loss of data, technical interruptions, third-party errors, outdated information, broken links or misuse of the website.
